I chose the NVQ to allow me to fit the study around my work, I liked the fact that I could study at home at my own pace. It was great not having any exams, and being able to utilise what I had already done at work, or work that I was creating as evidence for my course. The support that I received was of a high standard both verbally over the phone, and via the online portal. I completed the course in 10 months and I will be enrolling with ACT on the NEBOSH Fire Course shortly.

The enrolment was quick and easy with all forms completed by one of their trained members of staff, the venues for the training were chosen with care to offer all delegates the best facilities and environment for their training and the communication throughout was excellent, no problem was too small and the staff at ACT were always there to give assistance by using many different methods of communication.

I have found the study books for the NEBOSH National Diploma an invaluable resource for preparing for the exams. They work through the exact NEBOSH syllabus (the 'learning outcomes') step by step and provide excellent material to secure those necessary outcomes. They really are absolutely brilliant.

I recently attended a CPD event on ISO 45001 organised by ACT in Birmingham.
There were a good variety of speakers who made clear succinct points and suggestions and generously shared their experiences during the day.
I managed to pick up a few tips on the day and network with a few like minded H&S professionals.
