This course provides a practical summary of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, fire risk assessments & fire safety, preventing accidents, manual handling, what the employer’s duties are and what should be done if they think anyone’s occupational health is being put at risk.

This CITB accredited safety awareness course in site management of construction sites and preventing accidents is for those work in construction or are looking to start a career in construction – a fantastic overview of construction site risk assessments.

This training course is construction safety and environment is also the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card) and to the progressive CITB Site Safety Plus suite of courses that range from training for operatives into the industry up to senior manager / director. The CSCS green card is a very desirable card to have following completing a safety in construction course. The CSCS cards are used as proof that the person has passed the relevant training. The card shows that they should be able to demonstrate Health and Safety competence.
