IOSH Managing Safely Refresher
The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course is designed for those who have attended and successfully completed an IOSH Managing Safely course within the past three years. This is a great way for line management with responsibilities for health and safety who want to manage effectively to keep their IOSH Managing Safely knowledge up to date, in keeping with their organisation’s health and safety policy and in compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice.
This is an excellent course for anyone in a management or supervisory role who has completed the IOSH Managing Safely within the past three years.
The core programme is designed to revisit key management responsibilities from the Managing Safely course and provide updates on relevant changes in good practice guidance, legislation and standards.
Module 1 – Introducing managing safely
Module 2 – Assessing risks
Module 3 – Controlling risks
Module 4 – Understanding your responsibilities
Module 5 – Identifying hazards
Module 6 – Investigating incidents
Module 7 – Measuring performance
An IOSH ‘Managing safely’ certificate is awarded to all those who successfully complete the end assessment. There is no practical assessment for the refresher course.
The tutor was very funny, personable, knowledgable and made it a fun and interesting course.
The venue was handy and central, the course layout was good and the communication from ACT was excellent.
