Managing Safely® is an internationally recognised and respected qualification accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

The IOSH Managing Safely® course provides a comprehensive understanding of the general health and safety issues that affect all types of organisations and teaches crucial skills such as, how to manage risks.

This version of the course is a self-directed e-learning course. You work through the online modules one by one until you are ready to take your assessments. All study methods for this course provide the same qualification.

IOSH Managing Safely® E-learning Duration

The time it will take to complete this e-learning is dependent on the amount of time that you can dedicate to your study. It typically takes around 22 hours of study to complete, and as such is valid for 22 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD).

Each e-learning licence lasts for 6 months from the date of activation, which gives you plenty of time to complete the course.

Assessment

The assessment for this course is split into two parts – a multiple-choice examination and a practical workplace risk assessment.

The multiple-choice assessment is completed fully online, and your practical workplace risk assessment will be carried out in your workplace and then uploaded to our e-learning platform to be marked.
