Fast Track to the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate


This conversion course allows those who have completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate full qualification (NGC1 and GC2) within the last five years to obtain the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate with only four days study including tutorial, one exam (NCC1) and a workplace-based practical assignment (NCC2).

Classroom Course

This course is for anyone that has completed the full NEBOSH National General Certificate in the last five years.

Only the specialist Elements for NCC1 are covered in the NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Direct Self Study Course (3 days + tutorial day):

  • Construction law and management
  • Construction site – hazards and risk control
  • Working at height
  • Excavation work and confined spaces
  • Demolition and deconstruction

However the mandatory tutorial day will cover exam practice and technique relating to ALL thirteen Elements of Unit NCC1.

A pre-course pack and RMS study book is provided prior to course commencement to support and refresh the knowledge gained whilst studying the 8 common elements from Units NGC2 and NCC1.

The qualification is divided into two separately assessed units. Assessment is by written examination (for the Unit NCC1) and a work-based practical examination (Unit NCC2).
