What will I learn?
The health and safety awareness course provides you with an understanding of:
- Common hazards on site
- Why preventing accidents is important
- Health and safety law that applies to you
- Where you fit into the control and management of a site
- Risk assessing and method statements
- Working safely and asking for advice

Why take this health and safety course?
To obtain a CSCS card
Some employers and sites will require you to have a valid and in-date CSCS labourer’s Card (or Green Card) before you will even be allowed on site.
To go home safe at the end of the day
Understanding what can go wrong on a site is half of the battle when it comes to staying safe and healthy on site. This short, 1-day course is a great way to provide you key information which, when paired with a site induction, will keep you safe at work.
