SGUK launch promotion to join local safety groups

Safety groups provide an important role in enabling representatives from small and large organisations to get together to learn new ideas and support each other.  They are ideal for people staring out in safety and for those who have experience to share.  Membership is open to anyone with an interest in safety - you do not need to be trained or a member of a professional body.

For example, the Manchester Occupational Health and Safety Group have a legal update event on 31st July, where Natalie Puce of Berrymans Lace Mawer will be making a presentation and encouraging discussion (mohsg.org.uk).  In addition, the North West Regional Association of Occupational Health and Safety Groups are having their 56th Annual Conference and Exhibition 'LIVE AND NOT DIE' (Towards a Healthier Working Environment) on Wednesday 18th September in Preston.
