ACT training academy have been working with organisations looking at individual and group training needs, one of those companies was Chalcroft Ltd, Todd Hallam the Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager has worked with ACT to develop and utilise various training programmes, from essential skills like UKATA accredited Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling thorough to IOSH accredited Director training.

Todd is also one of 6 students from ACT this year to have completed his NVQ Level 4.

After the challenge of the NVQ level 4, Todds next challenge is personal and will be the biggest challenge of all, in March 2011 he is set to take on - Mount Everest, The 21-day expedition will take him to Base Camp Everest travelling along the remote Khumbu Valley route originally taken by Sir Edmund Hillary, he will be climbing to an altitude of 5545 metres in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). Being a New Zealander himself, he has an emotional connection to the climb, and since becoming a father 12 months ago, supporting the NSPCC was an easy decision.
