Designed For

This audit training course will be of particular interest to those delegates wishing to develop, refine or confirm their generic health and safety internal auditing capabilities, skills and knowledge. The course would be appropriate for those who have attended audit courses that focus principally on audit criteria rather than audit skills.

This course would be appropriate for those who wish to conduct audits at an internal level, of contractors or suppliers and at an independent third party level. This makes it suitable for managers, as well as local or corporate health and safety practitioners.

The course is designed for those who wish to develop a positive approach to internal auditing, ensuring the long-term effectiveness of audit programmes and improvement in the management of health and safety whilst also maintaining a high level of information security.

Key Points

The aim of the audit skills training course is to develop a positive approach to auditing, ensuring the long-term effectiveness of audit programmes and improvement in the management of health and safety.

  • Identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Successfully manage the risk of accidents/incidents, injury and ill health
  • Support a structured continual improvement approach, which will often mean going beyond minimum legal compliance
