Fire Marshall Training

It is a requirement under the Regulatory Reform Order 2005 that all organisations appoint sufficient Fire Marshall’s to cover the day to day responsibilities for fire safety.  These individuals should be given sufficient training and information so that they can for fill their role effectively and to give them the information on their legal responsibilities in this role.

You can study by attending a classroom course, involving face-to-face teaching which can be organised as an in-house course in your premises if you have a number of delegates who require training.

Outline

A highly participative course which incorporates a variety of learning methods including formal lectures, discussion, video and practical exercises. Designed to give delegates an understanding of the role of a Fire Marshall, so that they can return to their workplace and undertake this role.

Aims and Objectives

To enable staff to manage a fire or other similar emergency efficiently and effectively. To meet the legal requirements to train staff. This course has been designed with the core aim of creating a confident person to take charge in an emergency.

On completion of the course, delegates should have an adequate understanding of fire safety and should be able to recognise fire hazards within their workplace and be aware of the correct action to take in order to rectify those hazards.
