This refresher is taught over 1 day via Zoom.
The IOSH Managing Safely® Refresher course is tutor led and designed for those who have attended and successfully completed an IOSH Managing Safely course within the past three years.
The refresher course is a great way to keep the health and safety knowledge and skills learned by taking a Managing Safely® course up to date, and refresh your certificate.
Course content:
The core programme is designed to revisit key management responsibilities from the Managing Safely® course and provide updates on relevant changes in good practice guidance, legislation and standards.
- Module 1 – Thinking back
- Module 2 – Leadership
- Module 3 – Plan
- Module 4 – Do
- Module 5 – Check
- Module 6 – Act
Assessment:
An IOSH ‘Managing safely®’ certificate is awarded to all those who successfully complete the end of course assessment. There is no practical risk assessment for the refresher course.
In-house:
If you have multiple members of staff that could benefit from taking an IOSH Managing Safely® refresher course, we are able to deliver this training on an in-house basis. This would be delivered at an agreed upon location and date that will suit the needs of your organisation. Refresher training is a great option to get staff recertified and with in-house training we can even tailor the programme to be relevant to your organisation’s operations.
The course can be delivered online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, or at your venue in person.
