IOSH Managing Safely - Blended Learning

Nationally and internationally recognised and respected IOSH approved training for managers and supervisors.

For general information on the IOSH Managing Safely award click here.

Blended learning provides the flexibility of e-learning with the interaction and guidance provided by a classroom based taught course.  This approach would particularly suit those that want to reduce the amount of time away from work attending a classroom course but retain important face-to-face contact with a tutor.

Designed for

The IOSH Managing Safely is principally designed for those with line management responsibilities for health and safety who want to manage effectively, in keeping with their organisation’s health and safety policy and in compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice.

Outline

The blended learning option involves a combination of a one day study period on our IOSH Managing Safely classroom taught course and a period of online study time using our IOSH Managing Safely e-learning course

This provides time with a tutor, enabling consideration of topics that can benefit from discussion and final preparation for the assessment.

In addition, full access to the e-learning IOSH Managing Safely course is provided for the study period enabling you to progress at a pace that suits you and your availability. You will have access to an online tutor as well as complete study materials.  When you see your tutor in the classroom you will have an opportunity to confirm understanding, complete your learning and take the assessment.

This really is the best of both worlds
