Designed for:  Managers and health and safety practitioners progressing to the NEBOSH National Diploma. Satisfies entry requirements for application to Tech IOSH*
Outline:  A highly recommended entry level course to the National Diploma qualification. The National General Certificate syllabus consists of two units: focusing on risk management (Unit NGC1: Management of Health and Safety) and safety (Unit NGC2: Controlling workplace hazards). Assessment is currently by two written examinations (one for each of the Units NGC1 and NGC2) and a workplace-based practical assignment (Unit NGC3). Our comprehensive development programme includes: mock assessments (for both written and practical) and provision of a copy of the appropriate RMS NEBOSH Study Book for this course.

NEBOSH Certificate in Construction

Designed for: Site Managers, Planning Supervisors, Employee Representatives, H&S Managers with specific duties regarding construction safety and health and health and safety practitioners progressing to the NEBOSH National Diploma course. Satisfies entry requirements for application to Tech IOSH* or equivalent awards.
Outline: A highly recommended  entry level course to the National Diploma qualification. The National Certificate in Construction syllabus currently consists of nineteen topics of learning in preparation for assessment. Assessment is by two written examinations, one for each unit (Unit NGC1: Management of Health & Safety and Unit NCC1: Managing and controlling hazards in construction activities) and a construction workplace-based practical assignment.  Our comprehensive development programme includes: mock assessments (both written and practical) and provision of a copy of the RMS NEBOSH Study Book for this course. As with the General Certificate, delegates will find this course to be highly participative using the same diversity of learning methods included guided study, group work, overnight tasks and work between the weeks.
