How Our Online Health and Safety Training Works:

Our e-learning platform:

All of our e-learning courses are hosted on our learner platform. Upon purchase of an e-learning course, a member of our e-learning team will contact you with a login that you can use to access all of your learning materials. We have support access built into our learner platform, to allow you to contact our technical team or expert tutor depending on what you need.

Online Assessments:

Where permitted by awarding and certificating bodies, we have included assessments within the learning platform. This means that selected qualifications from our range of IOSH elearning, iAS, NEBOSH elearning, and UKATA elearning courses are able to be completed fully online. For more information about the assessments for one of our e-learning courses, there is a section in the dropdown with helpful information.

Technical Support:

Our technical support team are based in the UK and can be contacted via telephone and email during UK office hours for any issues or questions about our in-house developed software.

Tutor Support:

Our NEBOSH and IOSH courses have expert tutor support available, should you have any issues developing your understanding of part of the course you are able to contact one of our tutors for assistance. Our tutors have been providing NEBOSH and IOSH classroom training courses for over 28 years and are well equipped to help you if you get stuck at any point during your course.

Progress tracking:

All of our health and safety e-learning courses come with inbuilt progress tracking. For short courses like awareness courses, this may be in the form of a percentage bar that shows how far through the course you are, and for longer courses like NEBOSH certificates each unit will have its own progress bar. This allows you to see how much of the learning material you have covered, whether it’s for a 15 minute course, or a 110 hour course.

Manager’s Accounts:

If you’re a manager looking to train multiple members of staff, we have the option for you to be set up with a manager’s account. This allows you to set up your own learners on our platform, as and when you want. To find out more about our managers accounts please feel free to get in touch with one of our advisors: elearning@actassociates.co.uk

What Will I Learn Through Health and Safety Training:

In the UK:

If you are employed anywhere in the UK, you have a legal responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) to ensure the safety of yourself and others while you are at work. What you are responsible for directly relates to your role within the workplace, and our health and safety training is designed to help you to understand your responsibilities in the workplace as an employee, manager, director or other.

Proper training in health and safety, and training people to be competent in health and safety within your organisation, can help to reduce the risks associated with your workplace, reduce accidents and reduce unnecessary time off work.

Internationally:

IOSH e-learning courses and the NEBOSH International General Certificate are designed to provide the same high quality health and safety knowledge, but in a way that can be apply to any workplace, anywhere in the world.

We believe in a world where everyone can go home safely from work, and health and safety training is essential to that vision.
